In about six months, the Pennsylvania State Police will uncover an underground steel bunker in Bucks County with walls that are 6 feet deep. After an extensive excavation operation, they will discover mounds of human remains, bones that once belonged to 34 of the 35 players of the Philadelphia Flyers. In time they will learn that all of these men were consumed by bloodthirsty extraterrestrials with superhuman abilities, who then assumed their human form and resumed their duties in their stead.
The only one who managed to escape, Brian Boucher, will never speak of his ordeal, or of watching the untimely demise of his fellow teammates at the hands of bloodthirsty, ravenous aliens who ultimately sought to acquire a large, metal cup shaped device to power their spaceship and return to their home galaxy.
But not before they acquire new victims.
